Hard~Giver

If the Lord didn't let all of our faults and failures as human beings go, He would have gotten rid of us all at every phase in history. Remember, when people are hard to deal with, when you have to grit your teeth to absolutely stand to be around them, God, isn't getting rid of them and neither can {I} we. If difficult people disappeared from our lives, somehow, there would be others that are unpleasant or maybe worse, to come and take their place. People are put in our life to teach us God's way not our way. Nothing would be gained, no lessons would be learned, if everyone in our life were pleasant to be around. Lessons of love, learning them and trying not to forget them when people and situations make our lives harder than we think they should be. Let the things that stand in the way of loving them go, just as God does. As a precious friend once said to me, "It's our job to love the unlovable." You will find freedom in forgiving. Many times the people that the Lord wants to touch and reach through us, are the ones we struggle with the most. Make the choice to show love to them and extend mercy, Jesus would!

For if you love those who love you what reward have you?

Love~Giver

The Lord shows us how much He loves us through the people He places in our lives. He speaks His love and reassurance through the kindness of others.The people who cross our paths in our everyday lives are in need of His great love. Ordinary people, living ordinary lives can only know of His extraordinary love when we choose to follow His example and show loving kindness to others.

~Time Giver~

To make a difference in someone's life is to have made their lives better for being in it. Sometimes it may take everything we have in us to accomplish, and at other times may take very little to see great blessings in the persons life that you want to help. Mostly, it takes a desire given by the Lord, to involve ourselves in the giving of our time to others. It is still a choice that He puts before us. Our time is a coveted thing these days and it is easy to become selfish with it. Our self wants to keep it for ourselves, but the sweet Holy Spirit speaks and says give. So, it is in wanting to please Him that we make that choice. Choosing to give and do for others, for any other reason will not go nearly as well for you or them, if it does not come from the heart that just wants to please our Lord!       { note to self~do it for Him}
